Mission Statement: Serving all in Christ’s name – we aim to be a caring, growing community, welcoming everyone in worship and outreach. About the Church... The church was originally founded in 1890. Since this time we have moved into smaller premises and have had our centenary in 1993. The church is a member of The Bristol and South Gloucestershire circuit and Bristol District .We are also an active member of Bishopston Inter Church Group (BIG). Sunday Morning worship starts at 10:30am. The 3rd Sunday of every Month is a Family Service, with early birds at 9-30 a.m. The congregation is made up of lots of different people and ages who are all friendly and will make you feel welcome. About our Minister... Minister at Bishopston Methodist Church from September 2010 Reverend Anita Hart has been a Methodist Presbyter since 2004 and before that was a Methodist Deacon from 1996. Her appointments have included working with families in a British Army Garrison in Northern Germany, Rural Chaplaincy, Hospital Chaplaincy and caring for churches in Norwich and Guernsey. She is married to David and they have two daughters and a son, as well as two grandsons.
